Investigations/Security Manager

Permanent, Interim, or Contract Engagement Considered. You must have experience in Hong Kong and be either based there now or able to relocate without sponsorship etc.

We are partnering with a leading international retailer to appoint an experienced Investigations/Security Manager for their Hong Kong operations.

The client is open to considering candidates on either a permanent, interim, or fixed-term contract basis, making this an attractive opportunity for experienced security professionals seeking flexibility or project-based leadership work.

This is a senior role responsible for investigations, loss prevention, operational security, and the development of security strategies that protect people, assets, and brand reputation across a complex retail environment.

The successful candidate will bring a strong investigative mindset, operational credibility, and the ability to influence stakeholders across both retail and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate investigations relating to fraud, corruption, theft, and other loss incidents across the Hong Kong business
• Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and operational procedures
• Manage and develop security personnel and external security providers
• Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and shrinkage reviews
• Deliver training programmes covering security awareness, loss prevention, anti-bribery, and corruption
• Build and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and external stakeholders
• Partner with retail leadership to identify emerging risks and implement practical mitigation strategies
• Support the business with intelligence-led analysis and proactive risk management initiatives

Candidate Profile

• Experience in corporate security, investigations, law enforcement, or retail loss prevention
• Strong investigations background 
• Ideally experience operating within a retail, luxury retail, hospitality, or multi-site commercial environment preferred
• Knowledge of Hong Kong security regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent English and Cantonese preferred
