This is a great opportunity for someone to support the planning and delivery of security measures across a high-profile international events programme. Perhaps you are working in a GSOC, operating in an analytical capacity or simply at a stage when you are keen to take the next step in your career within one of the most iconic brands in the world.

You will work closely with event organisers, security managers, law enforcement agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure that robust, location-specific security arrangements are in place. This is a coordination-focused role requiring strong written communication, detailed security planning and the ability to translate complex risk information into clear, actionable guidance.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate with event organisers to obtain and review required security documentation, including checklists, threat and vulnerability assessments, emergency and incident management procedures, and law enforcement deployment plans.
  • Assess whether security plans adequately explain the controls and mitigation measures being implemented and meet the organisation’s security framework and standards.
  • Help communicate security expectations, standards and compliance requirements to new event organisers through briefings, guidance and ongoing support.
  • Participate in regular pre-event planning meetings, reviewing and recording security plans to maintain effective operational oversight.
  • Support the development and maintenance of an international network of trusted law enforcement, intelligence and private security contacts.
  • Participate in formal and informal intelligence exchange, security information sharing and threat-sharing arrangements.
  • Produce comprehensive security briefings covering identified threats, personnel deployments and associated operations.
  • Apply structured risk analysis to assess likelihood and impact and recommend proportionate mitigation measures.
  • Tailor briefings and incident management documentation to each event location, incorporating intelligence, local threat assessments and emerging risks.
  • Distribute security briefings, incident management plans and emergency evacuation plans to relevant senior leaders, operational teams, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistency, accuracy and clarity across all security documentation, ensuring stakeholders understand the risks, their responsibilities and the required security measures.
  • Assist with security planning and support arrangements for employees travelling to and operating at international event locations.
  • Help record security concerns, observations, responses and mitigations within incident-management software during events.
  • Escalate significant or high-risk issues to event organisers and relevant stakeholders in a consistent and controlled manner.
  • Work with Security Managers to produce structured post-event feedback covering incidents, recurring themes, security concerns and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support event organisers in implementing corrective actions and embedding lessons learned into future planning.

Essential experience

  • Experience supporting and delivering effective security programmes, particularly those focused on customer-facing outcomes.
  • Knowledge of physical security, personnel protection and security technologies.
  • Experience with tools and processes supporting crisis and incident response.
  • Experience of crisis and incident management, social media and data-security matters, intrusion detection, crime prevention, and civil or criminal investigations.
  • Experience working with data streams and scaling data or enterprise services for a large consumer audience.
