Mentorship
The enteles Search mentorship schemes are unique initiatives designed to foster growth and diversity within the global security and investigations industry.
The program enables seasoned security professionals to support aspiring leaders with insights and guidance that will help them navigate the complexities of the industry. By pairing experienced mentors with emerging talent, the schemes aim to bridge knowledge gaps, cultivate leadership skills, and prepare the next generation of security leaders for long-term success.
In November 2023, we launched a mentorship scheme for women in security, with the aim to address the underrepresentation of women in the security industry.
Recognising that increasing female leadership in security is key to driving innovation and inclusivity, the mentorship scheme pairs women in senior positions with emerging talent, offering them tailored advice, networking opportunities, and career development support. The scheme has proven to be extremely successful, with 73% of mentees securing new positions within 11 months of joining, highlighting the scheme’s tangible impact on career advancement.
Due to the increasing demand for support with career transitions, we also provide mentorship opportunities for government service leavers looking to transition to the private sector.
Many service leavers possess valuable, transferable skills such as leadership, problem-solving, and operational expertise, but may struggle to translate these into the corporate world. Our mentors, many of whom have made the transition themselves, offer guidance on how to apply these skills to the private sector, as well as tailored advice for successful transitions, enabling service leavers to thrive in their new environment.
