A leading multinational consumer goods firm is seeking an experienced physical security leader to oversee and evolve its regional security operations capability across Western Europe.

This is a fantastic regional role responsible for protecting people, assets, operations, and information across a complex international footprint. The position combines strategic oversight with operational execution and will suit someone who can operate confidently across corporate security, stakeholder engagement, investigations, technology, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional physical security operations programme across multiple sites and countries
  • Develop and implement scalable physical security and technology strategies
  • Oversee security systems including access control, CCTV, video management platforms, alarm systems, and guarding operations
  • Conduct security risk assessments, site vulnerability reviews, and compliance audits
  • Manage investigations into security incidents and coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead personnel security initiatives including executive protection, travel security, and support for high-profile events
  • Manage third-party security vendors, service contracts, KPIs, and budgets
  • Partner closely with senior leadership, HR, facilities, operations, supply chain, and technology teams
  • Drive security awareness, training, and operational best practice across the business
  • Support wider business resilience and crisis management initiatives

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate is likely to bring:

  • Significant experience in corporate physical security and risk management roles
  • Strong knowledge of physical security technologies, systems integration, and regional security operations
  • Experience managing investigations, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships
  • The ability to influence senior leadership within a matrixed multinational environment
  • Strong commercial awareness combined with operational credibility
  • Experience operating across multiple countries and cultures
  • Excellent communication, planning, and crisis management capabilities

Preferred Background

  • Experience within multinational consumer goods, FMCG, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, logistics, or similarly regulated environments
  • Professional security certifications such as CPP, CSMP, or equivalent
  • Exposure to supply chain security and security transformation programmes
  • Familiarity with modern security platforms and video management systems
