Compliance Manager - Governance, Risk & Assurance

Enteles Search is working with an ambitious European digital infrastructure business to appoint an experienced Compliance Manager. Operating at the forefront of technology infrastructure, the organisation is expanding its European footprint and strengthening its governance, risk and compliance capabilities.

This is a broad, business-facing appointment offering the opportunity to develop and shape an organisation-wide compliance programme within a dynamic, growing business.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance, you will take responsibility for developing and maintaining the organisation's compliance framework, working closely with stakeholders across operational, technical and corporate functions. A central priority will be the management and delivery of the organisation's SOC 2 assurance programme, alongside wider compliance governance, regulatory obligations and control monitoring.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing an organisation-wide compliance management framework.
• Leading and coordinating SOC 2 assurance activities, including control monitoring, evidence collection and audit preparation.
• Establishing a clear understanding of compliance obligations across business functions and European operations.
• Working with functional leaders to identify compliance requirements, assign accountability and monitor performance.
• Developing compliance reporting, management information and key risk indicators.
• Coordinating internal and external audits, certifications and customer assurance activities.
• Supporting compliance with relevant standards and requirements, including ISO 27001, GDPR and applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Developing control-testing programmes and overseeing the remediation of compliance gaps.
• Advising senior management on compliance risks, emerging requirements and areas for improvement.
• Promoting a consistent culture of compliance and accountability throughout the organisation.

About You

We are seeking an experienced compliance and assurance professional with a strong track record of developing and managing enterprise compliance programmes.

You will bring:

• Substantial experience in governance, risk, compliance or assurance within a complex organisation.
• Demonstrable experience managing SOC 2 assurance programmes, ideally including Type II examinations.
• A strong understanding of compliance frameworks, internal controls, audit processes and regulatory obligations.
• Experience working across multiple business functions to establish compliance ownership and accountability.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and related assurance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leadership.
• The confidence and independence to develop processes and drive improvements within a growing business.

Experience within digital infrastructure, technology, telecommunications, utilities or other critical infrastructure environments would be beneficial, although candidates from other sectors with strong SOC 2 and enterprise compliance experience are encouraged to apply.
