Physical Security Manager

Enteles Search is partnering with a rapidly growing European infrastructure business to appoint an experienced Physical Security Manager.  The organisation develops and operates large-scale, mission-critical facilities supporting some of the world's leading technology companies. With an expanding European footprint, it is investing in the people, systems and processes needed to support its continued growth. This is an opportunity to take ownership of physical security across a developing portfolio of facilities, combining strategic oversight with practical operational delivery.

You will help shape and deliver the organisation's physical security strategy, ensuring security arrangements are proportionate, effective and aligned with operational and customer requirements. Working across multiple European locations, you will provide oversight of outsourced security operations, contribute to new facility developments and establish consistent security standards across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing physical security policies, standards and operating procedures.
• Conducting security risk assessments and developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Overseeing outsourced security providers and monitoring service delivery.
• Providing guidance on physical security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion detection.
• Supporting the security design and development of new facilities.
• Managing security incidents, investigations and corrective actions.
• Developing threat intelligence and security risk management capabilities.
• Supporting customer security requirements, audits and assurance activities.
• Working closely with operational, technical and information security colleagues to ensure effective and resilient security arrangements.

About You

We are interested in speaking with experienced physical security professionals who have operated within complex, high-security or mission-critical environments.

You will ideally bring:

• Significant experience managing physical security within critical infrastructure environments such as energy, utilities, aviation, defence, digital infrastructure or similar sectors.
• A strong understanding of physical security risk management, operational security and security governance.
• Experience overseeing security technology and outsourced service providers.
• The ability to develop security programmes, policies and procedures.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, customers and external partners.
• A commercially aware and pragmatic approach to managing security risks.
• The ability to work independently within a growing, fast-moving organisation.

Experience within large-scale digital infrastructure facilities would be advantageous but is not essential. We are equally interested in candidates from other sectors who can demonstrate the right breadth of experience.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, hands-on position within a growing international business, offering the opportunity to influence how physical security is delivered across its European operations. The role is based in London, with a hybrid working arrangement and regular international travel.
