decor

We are seeking a senior security leader to take ownership of the EMEAI & APAC region for a major multinational and help build a best-in-class regional security capability from the ground up. The global security function is in a period of significant investment and transformation, with strong backing from senior leadership and a clear mandate to build a mature, scalable programme.

As the Senior Regional Security Manager for EMEAI & APAC, you will act as the regional extension of the Chief Security Officer, owning security strategy, delivery, and stakeholder engagement across your region.

It is an opportunity to step into a high-visibility, high-impact position where you will shape, build, and lead security across a complex international region, working directly with global leadership and senior business stakeholders. Office time in London is initially expected to be four days a week, with 15-20% travel likely.

Key responsibilities

·        Managing a regionally dispersed team, you will lead all aspects of physical security, life safety, and risk management across EMEAI & APAC

·        Act as the senior regional authority for incidents, crises, and security-related decision making

·        Build and mature regional security programmes, standards, and operating models

·        Translate global strategy into effective regional delivery, aligned to local regulatory environments

·        Partner with senior stakeholders to provide clear, actionable guidance on risk, travel, workplace security, and emerging threats

·        Drive consistency and operational maturity across multiple countries and varying levels of capability

·        Conduct risk assessments, audits, and readiness reviews

·        Manage security vendors, contracts, and service performance

·        Build strong relationships with law enforcement, emergency services, and external partners

·        Contribute to global strategy and help shape the evolution of the wider security function

Candidate profile

This role requires more than technical expertise. We are looking for a credible, experienced operator who can build, influence, and deliver.

You will likely be:

·        A proven regional security leader who has operated across multiple countries

·        Comfortable working in environments that are not yet fully mature

·        Able to build programmes, not just maintain them

·        Confident engaging senior stakeholders and challenging when needed

·        Equally comfortable in the boardroom and in the detail

·        A self-starter who can operate with autonomy and momentum

·        You will know what “good” looks like—and have the confidence to implement it.

Experience & background

·        8–12+ years in corporate security, risk, or crisis management in an international environment

·        Experience building or improving security programmes across regions

·        Strong understanding of European regulatory frameworks, including GDPR

·        Experience working with global security operations / incident response environments

·        Proven stakeholder engagement at senior level

·        Experience managing vendors and third-party providers

·        Ability to operate across time zones and cultures

Preferred

·        Experience in regulated industries (e.g. financial services)

·        Experience working across APAC, particularly India

·        Experience building governance frameworks, standards, or risk programmes
