Regional Security Manager, MENA

Based in Dubai, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the MENA region for one of the most recognisable consumer goods firms in the world. As a company they are on a transformative journey and you’ll join an established and innovative global security function, working with an experienced peer group, great management and have the opportunity to lead a bright, ambitious and talented team.

So before we dive into the remit, what are the non-negotiables? You will need to be fluent in Arabic, this is going to be key in working effectively ‘on the ground’ across your region. You’ll be experienced in those countries that might be considered ‘higher risk’ from a security standpoint, be able to demonstrate where you have either built or contributed significantly to building a programme and ideally have worked in a market entry capacity..

Your day to day work, will be centred around the management of a regional security organisation, where you will oversee all related day to day security operational activities, services and products within the portfolio acting as the key Security SME, contact, mentor, and consultant to the security managers and regional leaderships/management teams on security related topics/disciplines. You’ll plan, implement, drive and follow-up on security programs, security risk programs, governance, polices & procedures, and requirements in order to identify & address threats, and mitigate all security risks to people, assets and reputation.

Your work will lead on minimising and preventing security losses, property damage and ensure that all risks mitigation plans and emergency response procedures are implemented, trained, tested and maintained in order to avoid business disruption, and to be in compliance with relevant regional - local legislations and the company principles & practices, standards, procedures and guidelines.
