Global Head of Resilience

A global consumer goods organisation is building a next-generation approach to business continuity, crisis management, and operational resilience — and is hiring a senior leader to put the pieces together.  This is a high-impact, high-visibility role sitting on a Group Security leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Security Officer, with regular exposure to executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders.

The Opportunity

This role exists to design, connect, and embed a pragmatic, enterprise-wide continuity and crisis capability across a global manufacturing and supply-chain-driven organisation.

You will:

• Set the strategy and operating model
• Establish clear governance
• Standardise ways of working
• Enable adoption through training, exercises, and assurance

Scope & Accountability

You will own the enterprise Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and crisis framework, spanning:

• Business continuity & crisis management
• Supply chain and manufacturing resilience
• Interface with IT / disaster recovery
• Major incident response and escalation
• Executive governance and assurance

What You Will Do

• Define and implement the enterprise continuity and crisis strategy.
• Establish and chair senior executive and working-level governance forums.
• Simplify and standardise fragmented policies, standards, tools, and training.
• Identify and prioritise critical business services, dependencies, and recovery objectives.
• Design and run crisis exercises for senior leaders.
• Embed resilience through awareness, mentoring, and assurance.
• Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, IT, and security teams.
• Introduce and modernise crisis and continuity technology.
• Provide clear reporting and confidence to senior leadership on preparedness and risk.

Essential Experience

• Senior experience in business continuity and crisis management
• Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain, or asset-heavy environments
• Experience building or fixing governance in various environments
• Confidence operating with very senior stakeholders
