Business Continuity Manager

A global professional services organisation is hiring a Business Continuity Manager to lead and evolve its enterprise-wide resilience capability.

This is a high-profile role with the scope to shape strategy, lead a distributed team, and influence senior stakeholders across a complex international environment.

The opportunity

You’ll own the global Business Continuity vision and ensure the organisation remains operationally resilient through disruption. The role includes leadership responsibility for a small specialist team and maintains a close partnership with senior stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Risk, HR and Business leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a global Business Continuity function.

• Define and deliver the annual Business Continuity strategy and objectives.

• Develop and maintain a robust BCMS aligned to ISO 22301, BCI Good Practice Guidelines, and DRI standards.

• Embed continuity planning across regions, functions and third parties.

• Design and run scenario-based exercises, simulations, and post-exercise reviews.

• Provide expert guidance during incidents and disruptions, supporting senior leaders and critical operations.

• Ensure audit-ready documentation and continuous improvement, including maintaining ISO 22301 certification.

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in business continuity / operational resilience / risk management, ideally in a global environment.

• Strong track record leading ISO 22301 certified BCMS programmes.

• Deep working knowledge of BCI and DRI frameworks.

• Experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

• Confident advising leadership during live incidents and high-pressure situations.

• Recognised BC qualification.

• High emotional intelligence, gravitas, and the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Comfortable working internationally with occasional travel.
