Senior Associate - Corporate Intelligence & Investigations
We are working with a highly regarded, independent corporate intelligence and investigations consultancy that is experiencing significant growth and looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate to its expanding team.
Since it's inception, the business has developed an exceptional client portfolio, advising leading international organisations on complex, commercially sensitive matters.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished investigations professional to potentially move away from the increasingly specialised structures of larger consultancies and enjoy greater ownership of their work, direct client exposure and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in the development of a successful, growing business.
The Opportunity
Working closely with a highly experienced leadership team, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of corporate intelligence and investigative assignments, managing projects from initial instruction through to final delivery. The work is diverse, encompassing enhanced due diligence, asset tracing, litigation support, corporate investigations and complex intelligence gathering across multiple jurisdictions.
Rather than being confined to a particular discipline or geographical market, you will have the opportunity to work across the full investigative lifecycle, combining detailed research and analysis with sound commercial judgement and sophisticated written reporting. You will also have the opportunity to develop client relationships, contribute to the firm's wider growth and, over time, assume increasing responsibility within the business.
About You
We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have developed their careers within established corporate intelligence, investigations or specialist advisory consultancies.
You will ideally bring:
-
Approximately five years or more of relevant commercial investigations experience.
-
Strong experience in corporate due diligence, asset tracing and investigative research.
-
The ability to independently manage complex assignments from inception to completion.
-
Excellent open-source intelligence, public records and database research capabilities.
-
Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, nuanced and commercially relevant reports.
-
Intellectual curiosity, sound judgement and a meticulous approach to detail.
-
A collaborative, self-motivated approach and the confidence to operate with considerable autonomy.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
The attraction of this position extends well beyond the immediate responsibilities.
You will join a small, collegiate and highly experienced team where quality of work takes precedence over hierarchy and bureaucracy. The business offers genuine flexibility, with predominantly remote working, regular team interaction and the freedom to organise your working life around professional commitments.
For individuals who enjoy sophisticated investigative work but are seeking greater variety, independence and a more personal working environment, this represents an attractive alternative to the larger consulting firms.
Importantly, the business also has ambitious long-term plans, creating genuine opportunities for professional progression, increased responsibility and potentially future leadership involvement.
This is an opportunity to join an established team of respected industry professionals at an exciting stage of the firm's development, with the autonomy to make a real impact and the scope to grow alongside the business.
